​Meet the Team

After more than a decade of teaching and another one of climbing the career ladder in international development organisations in a variety of projects – from emergency relief, community development, capacity building of local governments to sustainable tourism development, I embarked on a new journey of self-discovery: with several colleagues, I founded Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives.  Not long after, Montenegro Adventures DMC came into the world, effectively thrusting me into the wild world of entrepreneurship.

I always wanted a job that balances office life with a sufficient amount of freedom (and fieldwork), taking me to different places with a focus on the hinterland of the Balkans.  And now, after more than a decade in Montenegro Adventures, I can safely say I still have a passion for organised adventures and for turning innovative ideas into projects that induce change.

When I made the deliberate choice to embark on a career with a travel agency, fortunately, I found myself welcomed into a team of fellow travel enthusiasts dedicated to showcasing the beauty of Montenegro and the Balkans to the global audience - Montenegro Adventures travel TEAM!

Over the past decade, I have traversed the region extensively, actively engaging in diverse projects ranging from developing innovative products such as hiking trails and wine routes to conducting training sessions for rural households. Whether it’s contributing to initiatives like Via Dinarica or similar endeavours, my commitment remains unwavering.

My passion lies in crafting unique itineraries, often in close collaboration with our clients and partners. When I create experiences for our customers, I strive to blend history and cultural heritage, the allure of nature, soft adventure activities, and the richness of local cuisine. Most importantly, I relish the opportunity to connect with the people, ensuring that the itineraries not only showcase the region’s highlights but also venture into the less-travelled paths, providing a genuine insight into the lives of the local communities.

I\'ve been working in tourism for a little over two years, and from the very beginning, I knew I had found the right place for myself. I enjoy creating travel programs and shaping stories that connect nature, culture, and authentic experiences. What I love most about this job is the chance to travel, meet new people, and host guests from all over the world.

So far, I’ve mostly worked with the Chinese market, which has given me valuable insight into communication and understanding the specific needs of that audience. Lately, I’ve been focused on expanding my knowledge to other markets and areas as well, as I’m eager to grow professionally and contribute to the development of our agency on multiple levels.

I’m excited about what lies ahead and look forward to every new opportunity this journey brings.

After completing my specialist studies, I decided to take a step toward my professional development and applied for an internship program which marked the beginning of my journey in the world of tourism.
After completing the internship program, I was given the opportunity to become a part of the Montenegro Adventures team — something I saw as a big recognition and a motivation. In my everyday work, I discover the true magic of tourism — not only through destinations, but also through people, cultures, and the diverse life stories that intertwine in this profession. Meeting new people and exploring different cultures has enriched me both professionally and personally.

I believe that tourism is much more than just a profession — it is a way of life, a space for continuous learning, and an opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for others.
